Are the requirements for the A-10 pilots the same as any other jet fighter pilot.

Well I will keep it short. 1. Is it easier to become an attacker pilot or a fighter pilot? and 2.How do I go about becoming an A-10 pilot?  

There is a question I have always wondered the answer to. Does having limited vision prohibit me from becoming a pilot?(Mainly a fighter pilot.) I would appreciate a reply from someone.
