Funny...when I was in Iraq, it seemed like the local folks were happy to have us around...but then again that's just first-hand experience. Oh, yes, and their English was better than yours. My guess is that you are a liberal college student from New England who is posing as an Iraqi to make a point...but I digress...The news media seems to think ...

Hey, I like your style. Most of us came through PLC or the Academy ( a handful from NROTC). You literally have a bunch of options open and all of them can get you into a fighter -- although PLC is the one that can get you an ''air contract.''Edhttp://www.fighter-pilot.org

Indeed, that is the #1 question! You are not alone.PRK is your best option -- currently the AF, Navy, and Marines all accept waivers for PRK provided that you meet requirements post-op (20/30 - 20/70) and are at least 3 months out of the surgery. The other good news is that the rules get looser and looser all of the time.I've got a couple of ...

First, contrary to common opinion, don't worry about your past grades. By the time you are talking to a recruiter, he will be looking at your ...

Fireball,Most of the requirements are slightly different depending on the service, the program, and when you join the program. You will find, however, that the Air Force has some of the tightest requirements on grades and scores.I get asked a lot about engineering and math. Here is the scoop, those courses really matter for the AF, matter a ...

5/7,I have a good list of all available options for USAF Airmen to get commissions and get a flight slot. In my research, I have been absolutely amazed at how far the Air Force is willing to go to keep quality people and make them officers. For example, about 1/3 of all OTS candidates are prior-enlistees.Oh, and one more thing...everything in the ...
