Hi Lorenzo
In Denmark we fly the blok 10 & blok 15 models. In these models we don't have any MFD's (Multi Function Display) which I am asuming you are talking about. We are however going to get these with the MLU (Mid Life Update).
I have never used MFD's myself, but I asume that when a senser is SOI it just means that

Good to hear from you again. The SOI (Sensor Of Interest) is used for targeting Laser Guided Bombs and Maverick AG weapons in the F-16.
Essentially, before you designate or ground-stabilize any sensor, the SOI for LGB's is radar and the SOI for mavericks is the HUD. For example, if you call up the Laser ...

I haven't heard of anywhere where you can fly the f16 as a civilian. The only chance there is, is to become a reporter & write about jets & then maybe you will be lucky and get a ride.
I haven't heard about the SOI system. Could you specify more what you are talking about. ?

It's likely that the cause of your airsickness was lack of sleep but I wouldn't worry about it even if it wasn't. A lot of people get airsick the first couple of times they fly. I don't know the specifics about your glider ride, but if you circled in thermals a lot it is very normal for passengers to get airsick. A few ...
