• Re: Cathay Pacific to decide A380 orders in 6-8 months

It's about time, I can't believe airlines, especially Asian carriers, aren't even interested in ordering it. Korean, EVA, China Airlines can use A380 to LA, Japan Airlines and All Nippon can use it on Japan-Honululu routes. Understandably current economic conditions hamper the ordering of A380 but I feel later on, most of the major carriers will ...

  • Re: Some opinion on Boeing B777

One reason when I book intercontinental flight, I check with travel agent and make sure it's not 777, I simply refuse to board this aircraft. There're already reports of defects, even on brand new aircraft (ie: Emirates 777 had one engine blade coming loose during takeoff, causing the engine to explode in Melbourne and aborted the takeoff, ...

  • Re: Hong Kong - Brazil air route suggestion

Lucas, is this for real or just your suggestion? When Varig first started HK flight, they initially planned Rio-Nairobi-HK, but rerouted through Rio-Jo'burg-Bangkok-HK. IMO this is not very practical, any flight with more than one stop means you're wasting too much time on landing/take-off plus landing charge. BTW, this is my first post and you've

First of all, you've got three options. You can join the Air Force Academy, sign up for college ROTC, or enlist after obtaining a degree in engeneering, and obtaining ...

  • The trend of airlines economy classes

There are more & more airlines changing their domestic service to full economy class, like the setting up of low cost carrier Air Canada's ZIP to replace Air Canada's full service routes in Canada West, together with one ticket transit with Air Canada international routes, which is not found in Tango, Air Canada's another low cost subsidary, ...

  • Why? Why Delta is still earning money?

Why, tell me why Delta of extremely poor service is still earning money after Sep 11 diaster, while other airlines with much better service like American, United & US Airways are heavily losing? I don't want to see United & US Airways go bankrupt, and don't want to see Delta's monopoly on USA air service?
