    I know old WWII prop planes used oil, but do modern day jets use oil? I looked at the blueprints of a few jets and couldn't find any oil tank. So do they?

    Is it possible for pilots to communicate while flying at Mach 1+? I figure that they'd fly past their sound before it got into the radio, and it'd be the same way if they were trying to hear a radio communication. I've thought of every possibility I could think of, and the only conclusion I could come up with is that they don't comunicate while ...

    Now is a good time to start. After you get your commercial license you will need to get a lot of hours in a small company and by the time you are ready for the majors, probably in 6 years, the industry will have turned.

    Hi, I am extremely new to this forum, I am in no way a pilot, yet use to take flying lessons. I am interested in a career in piloting, yet, I am curous if any of you are aware of the economy for aviation.
