• Ground contact

The following incident occurred this Wednesday 7/28/2004 in Switzerland, Zurich-Airport. During the start of a passanger jet from Malaysia airlines with 228 passengers on board, the tail had ground contact. A sixteen-year-old boy shot the attached picture. The pilot decided immediately for a return to the airport, after he had discharged 70 tons ...

  • Re: NSI Troubles

You don't like an instructor so you want to bail. You probably won't like a MIG on your tail either but pulling the loud handles isn't going to solve the problem. Sounds to me like this person is out to see what your made of. And I might add with good cause. Your entering a field where only the strong survive. If you can't take what this boy is ...

  • Re: Looking for panties.

Don't have a clue where you would get something like that, however. Go buy yourself some that you think he would like and take them to a computerized embroidery shop. They will have the artwork there to get whatever you want embroidered on them. It is reasonably priced as well. Good Luck

  • Re: am i too tall????!!!!!!!!!!

I can't tell you for sure, D_Rock, but I've seen a lot of tall pilots. I'm about your height, but 16, and I'm worried myself. But like I said, I've seen some TALL pilots. I haven't seen them RIGHT up close, so I don't know how tall, but we go over to where the 147th is stationed every Sunday because it's right by my church, and occasionally I'll ...

  • A380 is 14 tons overweight

Airbus now expects the plane to weigh in at 290 metric tons, instead of its earlier target weight of 276 metric tons. - about 5 percent heavier than the previous target. The additional weight is mainly a result of an 11 tonnes heavier fuselage as well as 2.74 tonnes of additional weight in its wings. The A380 would weigh in at 1,153 pounds per ...

  • F16 project on hand. Help will be deeply appreciated.

Hi guys! Just want to quote an F16 accident that happened some time ago. ''In aft ejection mode, the front pilot pulls the ejection handle. The aft pilot was supposed to be ejected first, and after a short delay, the front pilot. Suprisingly, the front pilot ejected first, and the rocket blast from the ACES II seat gave the aft pilot first degree ...
