• Re: Which is better: The F-16XL or the F/A-18E/F

Quote: Topspeed - If you compare the F16 vs F-16XL both with F-100-pw-200 engines the F-16 has a higher top speed. Why, I can't tell you. I'm a little late coming into the discussion, I know, and forgive me for bringing a seemingly dead topic back to life..but..the reason the XL is slower than the F-16A-E is..to put simply..drag..the XL does *not* ...

  • Re: i was wondering if a person who is paralized can become a pilot.

I don't know if thats possable, because of the aircraft pedals and the PT. But you might want to request more info from the air force or navy. Still you might be able to do something with aircraft if not fly them, like navigate for a airliner or do air traffic control. I wish you luck in flying.......-Lt.

  • i was wondering if a person who is paralized can become a pilot.

the reason i ask is because i am paralized and i've always dreamed of becoming one. i seriously doubt that it is possible to become a pilot with the air force or with the navy since i wouldn't be able to complete or even enter basic training.
