I am not employed by the US Air Force, but the Danish, but during my 4 years at Sheppard AFB, TX I didn't see the slightest hint of discrimination.

I sure am glad they look at other things than previous grades here in Denmark :) We have one of the toughest pilot selection programs in the world, but previous grades don't count for much. yes, semperfly's post was a little out of there, but som people do start young. I was 21 when I solo'ed on the F-16 and was operational at age 22. Now at 35 I still have lots to learn ;o)
