I've read post after post of aspiring kids (such as me) urning for the right be to a USAF/NAVY fighter pilot. Yet i haven't seen any of the questions i have, asked yet.so here i go..i've recently decided after visiting a military base that i would absoloutley love to be a pilot in the armed forces, i havent had a plan for my future untill now ...

my dad told me you need 20-20 vision to be an airforce pilot.  is this true?  if not what kind of vission do you need?

and how many flight hours should I take , also , what is the average cost of a flight hourshould I get my PPL , will it increase my chances

I have a Narco AT 150 transponder and a King KN 64 DME, which often reply to each other's signals.  A suppression wire was installed between the two radios to eliminate this problem.  The problem that I have is that although the units no longer reply to each other's signals, my Mode C cuts out, according to Air Traffic Control.  Is ...

It would not be too hard (it is one of the more common ways to become an airline pilot)....if the airlines are hiring when you get out.
