    I know this is an older thread - but just wanted to remind anyone coming to the USA for flying lessons that one of the things to consider is WEATHER.&nbsp; It can be irritating to sign up for lessons on a tight timeframe and be unable to fly due to poor weather conditions and they vary a LOT from area to area.

    Hard to tell from the picture but I believe that is part of the detent spring for one of the switches. It gives a firmer feel to each of positions. However their is no reference in the service manual for that part?
