You need to be a US citizen to be a pilot in the USAF. Age limits for pilot training and time requirements for citizenship may conflict.

Talk to someone who knows about OTS selection.  I'd recommend contacting someone in that area.  There is probably some info at the OTS website.

It sounds like you have a pretty good chance for an appointment to USAFA or USNA.

Well, I don't know about your vision, but 6'1'' is NOT too tall to fly.  You should look into AFROTC for more information.

Do well in high school.  Get good grades.  Take the hardest classes.  Be involved in athletic activities, and hold leadership positions. During your junior year, apply for summer seminar. I do not know the differences between USAF and USMC flight qualifications, selections, etc. ROTC is a college program.  There are several commissioning programs for each service.  ROTC, the respective service academy (USAFA for AF, USNA for navy/marines), or ...

Color deficiency is not neccessarily a DQ for getting into the academy, but it usually is a DQ for a pilot slot.

If you meet the requirements at http://www.afrotc.com/, you should be good. Without some sort of standardized academic test records, you may not be competitive for a scholarship.  They need to have confidence in your academic abilities, based on a reliable basis for comparison.
