    AF pilot training bases

I am currently a cadet at usafa and just received a pilot slot. Does anyone know which base outputs the most fighter pilots out of Laughlin, Vance, and Columbus? thanks

    Re: AF pilot training bases

None of these put out the most.

You get go 38's out of these places if you work hard and place toward the top of your class.  Requirements are work hard and fly well, and be an ass but not too much of and ass, be cocky but not too cocky.  But mostly just be towards the top of your class in flying and academics (those 2 are about 90% of it).

But 38 slots are becoming less and less desirable at all bases so you probably have a better chance than several years ago.

I do not recommend going fighter, but rather filling a role that is hacking the mission every day, and one where you will deal with crew aircraft as it is very fufilling.  Special Ops is my ultimate recommendation, but only if you really care about the mission and not about the image you seem to have of being a "fighter pilot".
