The trend of airlines economy classes

The trend of airlines economy classes

There are more & more airlines changing their domestic service to full economy class, like the setting up of low cost carrier Air Canada's ZIP to replace Air Canada's full service routes in Canada West, together with one ticket transit with Air Canada international routes, which is not found in Tango, Air Canada's another low cost subsidary, the changing of some Qantas domestic flights to full economy class seating, the setting up of a new low cost domestic airline by Qantas, and the setting up of a low cost international carrier Australian Airlines by Qantas, which has only economy class.

So some questions rise: Would premium class service be finally a service only found on some long distance intercontinental routes, and not found on shorter distance routes? Would business & the more affordable travellers accept this?

And I think if the premium classes are cancelled, then the economy class should be improved like increasing seat pitch to at least 32", setting up personal TV, AVOD, laptop power supply for all seats, to make the business travellers can work better.
