[Hi to all,
Has anyone got any news about the awaited FMRAAM missle. I've been trying to find out the progress of this and cant find anything. Will it be used by the F-16 or the Danish airforce in the future.
Thanks.

[How does that fit with my personal sight of a couple of A 10's (I had to leave my actual worksite to check the distinctive and steady sound of two(slow) tankbusters!), beeing intercepted by RDAF F-16's:
I mentions the slow A 10's turning each way as on a merry-go round, while the F 16's was left hard cornering out of sight ...

Hi Kim,
It's interesting you should mention that! I've got this clip (of an F-16 belly landing) that describes what you said to a T. I'll have to take a look at it though to see if it was a RDAF F-16. ...

[You are right about the advantages except for the stick forces, but ofcourse it is nice with the support for the arm in the F16.]
Could'nt You be in the wisf of some kind of response from the stick? This regarding to the dilemma between power-seering vs. traditional direct steering from the ...

I remember that RDAF had an belly-landing with F-16 early after it's introduction. The reason why I remembers is that it happened live in front of a tv-crew from the national-regional tv-station.
The fighter suffered very slight damage becaused by the belly mounted tank / canister (?), and i noticed that it was ...

I have also had some major gear damage comming back from a mission and had to declare an emergency. I had to land the F16 on it's belly and I did this ok. There were sparks and smoke everywhere. If you are in this situation remember that you still have to pull back on the stick and keep the aircraft level when
