Actually, Cathay Pacific started service with the A340-211 in 1994. Their first A330 was delivered in February, 1995, and their first 777 was delivered in May, 1996.
Why do you say that Air France would certainly go for the A340-500/-600 instead of the B77-200LR/-300ER if the Airbus offered a GE option? They seem to be quite happy operating ...

I was thinking about entering this flying contest where you build a plane and attempt to fly it off a 30ft ramp into the wild blue yonder (or straight into the water), wondering if anyone in here has any suggestions. The general rules are:

I am currently a USAF communications officer. I am preparing to submit a package for UPT in 2004. I am curious to know is there any advice you can give me? I was also curious to know what the likelihood of flying the B1-B out of UPT? I heard that a lot of pilots are going heavies instead of bomber/fighter.

i practise flying on F/A 18E superHornet simulator and i want to build it's cockpit .i've eard of EPIC cards to improve the realistic touch , etc etc . But i don't want to spend a lot ad i think about all the ideas to build the cockpit .
