[I have been a kind of tricking, while I already knew the story around the "danish flag Draken"!
Since this, i'll here start up the explanations:
The National coloured Draken was a tribute to the homecoming national soccer team, when arriving from the World-cup in Mexico (year?). Having kissed the finals, this was the first ewer major result in the world cup for the danish national soccer team, and by the homecoming the team was celebrated by the whole country.
However, the RDAF was the very first to congratulate the team by intercepting their flight over the North sea for a fly by, with the national coloured Draken!
I think the story (as well the ones for the other fancy Drakens?) gives a sign of a fighter-group with a plenty of "go". An unthinkable situation today??]
