I thinked of a joke of an Airbus aircraft used for intra-city transportation, immediately after reading someone's message in a railway newsgroup of Hong Kong, which he said he KMB 66 (a bus route) from Prince Edward to Tuen Mun Park for only 10 minutes, which normally takes at least 60 minutes. (Don't mind if you don't understand the places mentioned here. This just says it is impossible.)

The Airbus aircraft is specially converted, with an electromagnet-fitted container lift installed at the top of the cargo underhold. Passengers have to be seated in specially designed half-width LD-3 containers (with 6 seats) or full-width LD-29 containers (with 12 seats) before taking the trip. Then the container lift of the aircraft is lowered, and the container is lifted until entered the cargo hold of the aircraft. The containers are lowered by the container lifts until the container is near to the ground, and is then lowered. The passengers finally leave the container.
This is the fastest way of intra-city transportation!
