Cathay Pacific to decide A380 orders in 6-8 months

    <a href="http://money.iwon.com/jsp/nw/nwdt_rt.jsp?section=news&news_id=reu-hkg66942-u1&feed=reu&date=20020807&cat=INDUSTRY">http://money.iwon.com/jsp/nw/nwdt_rt.jsp?section=news&news_id=reu-hkg66942-u1&feed=reu&date=20020807&cat=INDUSTRY</a>

This makes Cathay Pacific the 3rd Airbus A380 customer in Asia after Singapore Airlines & Qantas. What a good news for passengers! Economy Class passengers can enjoy wider seats of 18" than 747 of 17", while Business Class passengers do not need to suffer middle seats, and they may have lower fare due to lower cost.

It's about time, I can't believe airlines, especially Asian carriers, aren't even interested in ordering it. Korean, EVA, China Airlines can use A380 to LA, Japan Airlines and All Nippon can use it on Japan-Honululu routes. Understandably current economic conditions hamper the ordering of A380 but I feel later on, most of the major carriers will have to order it.
