Hangar is SR-25 (Skid Row #25), North Las Vegas airport . Size is 5,850 square feet; 70 feet wide by 80 feet deep with electric bi-fold door (easily accommodates two aircraft). Hangar was built in 1990 or 1991. It has 110/220 electric power, a bathroom, evaporative cooling, heater, metal halide lighting, 70-foot electric bi-fold and rear entry door, is piped for compressed air and water, insulated, alarmed. It has been empty since the owner’s death in December 2009.
The former owner paid $900,000 for this hangar. It has been on the market for the over two years, but it has not been aggressively marketed. There is a large “FOR SALE” banner on the hangar facing a runway.
It was originally listed at $850,000. The price was lowered awhile back to $650,000, and then lowered again recently to $526,000, which is $91/sq. ft. – comparable with other hangars that have sold nearby recently.
