In the AF, about 40 percent of pilot slots go to the academy, 40 percent to AFROTC, and the remainder to OTS (so I am told).

The AF likes technical/science degrees, but it is NOT a requirement.

I am double majoring in Professional Pilot and Aerospace Administration. I have no doubt in my mind that I want a future in the military and have never second guessed it. I like college and will keep with it but I was wondering if there was any other ways that I could school (military academy or something) I have been trying to do some research and I just cant find any answers to this. Do I need a degree in Aviation or can I join a military branch right now and get the flight training that I need?
