Hardware certification

Hi to everybody,

I am new on this forum. I would like to start by asking a question. Maybe I am lucky and someone knows the answer.

In order to get the avionic certification for an electronic board with microcontrollers, LDOs, and many other electronic devices, do all the different component in the board have to have an aerospace certification from its manufacturer?
